Similar to human chiropractic medicine, Veterinary Spinal Medical Manipulation is used to adjust soft tissues and muscles surrounding restricted joints to restore normal range of motion of a joint. By law the term “chiropractic” refers only to human medicine and can only be practiced by a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine. Only licensed veterinarians, on the other hand, may become certified Veterinary Spinal Medical Manipulation practitioners.
Dr. Duncan performed her training at the Integrative Veterinary Medical Institute in Reddick, FL and completed her certification in December of 2017. VSMM is especially effective when used in conjunction with acupuncture to treat the following disorders.
